Just a simple green smoothie recipe for you today. This is what I had for my breakfast this morning to give me a good boost. My healthy eating has been slacking the past couple of days due to my mental health so this gave me a booster to my system.
Ingredients (serves 1)
2 large handfuls of spinach.
1tbsp Lemon Juice (Optional)
Water (I add quite a bit. Use according to your preference)
I enjoy the combination of the ingredients. The ginger gives it a quick. The spinach gives it some good nutrients and a beautiful green colour. The orange has some great nutrients in for the morning. cucumber is lovely for the flavour and of course, I love lemon juice so that went beautifully in this.
The colour is so wonderful for this smoothie. I would recommend playing around with the ingredients. There are plenty of greens you could add to this. Celery or kale would work well for example. Just have some fun with it 🙂
