Banana and Berry Breakfast Smoothie

Hi, Beans!
During the summer months, I seek out more refreshing smoothies for breakfast but still packed with nutrients. Certainly better than having an ice lolly for breakfast…not that I would ever do that. Yea right!  Anyways, as usual. A quick a simple recipe with no method needed because it’s a smoothie.

Ingredients (serves 1)

300ml Orange Juice
1 Banana
100g Raspberries
1Tbsp Flax Seed
1/2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
Handful of Goji Berries
Raspberries for topping (optional)
Desiccated coconut (optional)

Whizz it up!


With some desiccated coconut and frozen raspberries on top. This would make a wonderful smoothie bowl *mental note* for next time. You could also add some rolled oats for something a little more filling. Play around with the fruit of your choosing and maybe also try some yoghurt or milk instead of juice. Or, even another type of juice. Apple would be good.
