This is a toast edition of my avocado loves. This is one of the easiest accompaniments for Avocado. The crunchy texture of yummy brown bread goes perfectly with the softness of the avocado. I like to normally add chia seeds to my basic avocado toast recipes for a bit of crunch. Here are a few of the ways I have it depending on my mood.
Ingredients: Toast. Avocado. Chia Seeds. Chilli Flakes. Lemon. Salt & Pepper.
This one if the one I have most of the time as it takes the least amount of preparation. Very simple and yummy. Good for a filling lunch.
Ingredients: Toast. Avocado. Chia Seeds. Cherry Tomatoes. Lemon. Parsley. Salt & Pepper.
The sweetness of the tomatoes works perfectly with the lemon, parsley and avocado on this toast. Add some chia seeds for an extra crunch.
With Apple (Guacamole Edition)
Ingredients: Toast. Avocado. Chia Seeds. Onion. Garlic. Apple. Salt & Pepper.
Similar to the mash-up bowls in my recipes. Thie is a lunch version where I shove salad ingredients and fruit onto a plate with a slice of toast. I love the onion flavour of the guacamole with apple. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it!
