This dressing is my go-to creamy dressing for all of my salads. It’s super quick and easy to make but it tastes so good. Minimal ingredients are used and it’s super healthy. It literally takes five minutes to make. It feels so much more luxurious than the effort that has gone into making it. A great recipe for those summer BBQ salads. It would also make a great dressing for various vegetable or potato dishes.
You can also have some fun with this dressing. Sometimes we add 1 tsp of mustard for a little kick. Chilli also works great. Other times we play more with herbs and add plenty of parsley or coriander. It works as a great base for many other flavour combinations. The best thing about this dressing is how creamy it is.

My Tofu and Sweet Potato Kale Salad would also be a perfect salad recipe for this dressing. How about something on the side to munch on? Lasagna sheet crisps would be a tasty side.
- 1 tbsp Tahini
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Coconut Aminos
- 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil Optional
- 1-3 tbsp Cold Water
- Combine all the ingredients apart from the water in a small dish or bowl.
- Mix thoroughly. Making sure all the lumps are gone. Add water 1 tbsp at a time until its the consistency you want. We prefer ours creamier so with less water.
