Banana Milkshake

McDonalds Banana Milkshakes were one of my many addictions before I went Vegan. I have a big sweet tooth and I’ve always loved Banana so they gave me the best of both worlds. Recently I’ve had a craving for such a thing so I made my own.

You can use the base of this recipe, minus the banana for other flavors. Add some strawberries for a delicious strawberry milkshake. Some chocolate spread would make a fab chocolate milkshake. Or, get creative. How about a cinnamon gingerbread milkshake with a caramelized pecan crumb or a cheesecake milkshake with a shortbread topping?

If you like this recipe you will enjoy the Cookie dough Peanut Bites, fewer calories but just as decadent. Or, if you prefer something savory, how about the Roasted Chickpeas, with plenty of crunch to satisfy your hunger.

Banana Milkshake

Ingredients

  • 200 ml Dairy-Free Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 100 ml Plant-Based Milk
  • 1 Ripe Banana

Optional Extras

  • 2/3 of a Chocolate Bar – Break it into pieces for the milkshake and use some as a topping

Toppings:

  • Dairy Free Squirty Cream
  • Vegan Marshmallows
  • Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Vegan Chocolate spread

Instructions

  1. Place all milkshake ingredients in a blender, high speed preferable. Make sure to break up your banana and crumble your chocolate bar if using.
  2. Blend on highest setting for 30 seconds.
  3. Top with squirty cream and the rest of your optional extras.
