Apple & Pecan Pie Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a great way to start your morning. It will keep you full through the day and the added sweetness of the fruit gives a healthy kick. Oh, and it’s super yummy. The comforting Pecan flavor alongside the tartness of the apple. A clever way to feel like your eating a sweet Pie for breakfast.

Pecans are very nutrient dense which makes them a great addition to your daily food intake. Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Potassium, Fiber, you name it and Pecans probably have it.

Don’t forget the apples and the oats. Apples are great for skin boosting qualities and oats have a lot of the nutrients that Pecans have which gives you a huge nutrient value all in one delicious meal.

Apple & Pecan Pie Oatmeal

  • 50 g Oats
  • 118 ml Water
  • 118 ml Plant-Based Milk
  • 1 Medium Apple finely chopped
  • 25 g Pecans
  • 1 Tbsp Golden Syrup Other syrups and brown sugar would also work
  • 1/3 Tsp Cinnamon and some to sprinkle on top
  • Pinch of Nutmeg and Salt
  • 1/4 Tbsp Plant-Based Margarine I used Vitalife


  1. Add your apple, spices, salt, margarine and Golden Syrup to the pan and cook on a medium to high heat until the apple is soft. 

  2. Add your water, plant milk, and oats.

  3. Cook until there’s hardly any water left. Then add your Pecans. 

  4. Serve immediately. Sprinkle with cinnamon and other toppings of your choosing.
