Chocolate Protein Smoothie

Protein smoothies are a great way to start your day if you need something a little more filling than a traditional fruit smoothie but quicker than a bowl of oats. A great breakfast for when you’re on your way to work or the gym.

The protein in this smoothie comes from the peanut butter and banana. Combined with the delicious flavor of chocolate it feels like your having a dessert for breakfast without the guilt or sugar and calorie overload.

You could easily swap out the peanut butter for another nut butter of your choice as well such as Cashew or Almond.

If you enjoy this recipe make sure to check out the vast range of other smoothie options such as the Green Super Boost Smoothie for a huge dose of nutrients to start your day. Or, for a more fruity option, try the Blueberry & Raspberry Smoothie.
