Protein smoothies are a great way to start your day if you need something a little more filling than a traditional fruit smoothie but quicker than a bowl of oats. A great breakfast for when you’re on your way to work or the gym.
The protein in this smoothie comes from the peanut butter and banana. Combined with the delicious flavor of chocolate it feels like your having a dessert for breakfast without the guilt or sugar and calorie overload.
You could easily swap out the peanut butter for another nut butter of your choice as well such as Cashew or Almond.

Chocolate Protein Smoothie
- 2 Bananas Frozen or unfrozen
- 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter Powder or 1 Tbsp of Peanut butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tbsp Rolled or Porridge Oats
- 250 ml Plant-Based Milk
- 2-4 Pitted Dates
- Ice Cubes Optional
Start by blending your Bananas.
Add your milk and blend again.
Add the rest of your ingredients and blend a final time.
Serve immediately and top with a sprinkle of cocoa nibs and desiccated Coconut.
